FAQ
Ink questions, answered
Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp. An engineer replies, not a bot.
What is the difference between eco solvent and solvent ink?
Eco solvent ink has a milder smell and lower VOCs, suits indoor and close-viewing work like vinyl, backlit and canvas, and runs on Epson heads. Solvent ink is harsher but cheaper per square metre and more weather-resistant, ideal for outdoor flex on Konica heads. Never mix the two in one machine.
How long does ink last after opening?
Keep cans sealed, upright and out of direct sun. Eco solvent and solvent inks are best used within 12 months of manufacture, and UV ink within 6–9 months. Shake gently before refilling, and never top up a tank with a different batch type.
Can I switch my printer to your ink?
Usually yes. We flush the lines and dampers, fill fresh ink, and create a new colour profile so your output matches. Tell us your current ink and head model and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
Switching ink brands?
Tell us your head model and current ink. We'll confirm compatibility, flush the system properly and build a new colour profile, so your first print matches your last.
